The digital organism of our company – from first steps to a mature, stable business.
This portal was not created as an IT toy, but from the need to keep control over the company from the first kilometre all the way to the financial statements. I wanted one place where transport, accounting, HR, control and audit communicate together – not as separate islands, but as one functional organism.
The goal of the portal is to connect everyday transport reality with accounting figures and the owner’s decisions. Every transport, every invoice, every decision should have its story and logic that we can explain to the bank, to the auditor and to ourselves.
The portal is meant to be a tool that helps us run transport transparently, predictably and with respect for the people who work in it.
The portal is built in a modular way. Transport, accounting, HR, control, audit, virtual assistants and integrations with external systems (for example TransEU) are separate units that work together. Thanks to this we can develop the system step by step, without chaos and without stopping daily operations.
Every new module has a clear purpose: to simplify something, to check something or to explain something more clearly. If a module doesn’t make sense in practice, it has no place here.
The portal is not built behind closed doors. It is based on real comments and experience from people who live with transport, accounting and administration every day. If something doesn’t work well, we adjust it. If something is missing, we add it.
Feedback from employees, drivers and partners is the reason why the system keeps evolving. The portal is not a finished product – it is a living project.
I see this portal as a digital organism. At the beginning it is like a child – learning to walk, making mistakes, falling down and standing up again. Step by step it gains experience, new modules, connections and rules.
Just as a person matures, the system also goes through stages: from simple tables to an intelligent tool that can point out problems, suggest solutions and prepare decision-making documents.
Our ambition is to have a portal that becomes a mature partner for the owner, the bank, the auditor and the people in the company – not just another calendar or a digital filing cabinet.
Thank you to everyone who uses this portal, tests it and honestly says what helps and what gets in the way. This kind of feedback is more valuable to me than any marketing presentation.
